fire/EMS/law
enforcement
first
responders
that may be
called to a
railroad
incident. It
covers
safety, Haz
Mat, and the
basic “do’s
and don'ts”
of this
particular
type of
incident.
Although we
do not have
any major
railways in
our
district, we
may be
called upon
for mutual
aid from
neighboring
departments.
Remember the
Graniteville
incident.
This
incident
required
many
agencies far
out of the
initial call
area. Please
take
advantage of
this unique
online
training
that would
enable us to
have a basic
knowledge of
railway
incidents.
Upon
successful
completion
of the
course, you
will be
awarded a
certificate
of
completion
by
downloading.
