The Glassy Mountain Fire
Department is a "combination department" made up of both paid
career staff and volunteer members.
Personnel include a full-time Chief, a part-time Assistant Chief, an Assistant Chief / Volunteer Coordinator,
9 full-time Firefighters, 37 Volunteers, and 6 Explorer scouts.
